International buyers, importers, and investors do business with Chinese companies every day. But verifying whether a Chinese company is real has never been easy. The official registries are in Chinese, hard to navigate, and often slow to load from outside China.
CheckChinaCompany was built to solve this. We read China’s official business registration records for you and deliver credit reports in English and other languages, compiled from live official data.
Why We’re Different
There are plenty of tools that claim to “check a China company.” Most fall into one of two groups:
- AI-generated tools use language models to invent company information. They can produce companies that don’t exist, wrong registration numbers, and data that gets mixed up between firms. You wouldn’t want to base a business decision on that.

Our Data Sources
Our data is sourced from China’s official business registration systems, including the National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System (国家企业信用信息公示系统) and other government databases. These are the same systems used by Chinese banks, courts, and regulatory agencies for official business verification.
For each report, we retrieve the following registered information and translate it into your chosen language (English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Vietnamese, Turkish, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Portuguese, Indonesian, or Thai):
- Company name (in Chinese, with a translation into your language)
- Unified Social Credit Code (18-digit registration number)
- Registration status (Active, Cancelled, or Revoked)
- Registered capital and paid-in capital
- Legal representative name
- Establishment date
- Business scope (registered activities)
- Company type (LLC, Joint Stock, WFOE, etc.)
- Registered address
